Parchment Craft Magazine - February 2017
Whilst the temperature outside may be plummeting, why not nestle in the warmth of your crafting area with your favourite brew, maybe even a biscuit or two, before contemplating which beautiful project to tackle first in this month's magazine.
Love is most definitely in the air and with St. Valentine's Day only a few weeks away, I've cherry picked for you a handful of romantic themed designs which I hope your beloved will adore. I particularly like Mary G. Kerr's LOVE Card (page 12), Backed onto dark pink card, the design features romantic references including a large bold heart filled with grid work. It's quite a intricate card so there's plenty to keep you busy, it also offers lots of practice if you're looking to improve your cutting skills. Also in this month's magazine is a brilliant new series of designs by the fantastic Lesley Shore. Lesley's going to show you how to add movement to your projects, starting with a brilliant penny slider card enabling a butterfly to take flight (not literally though).
In addition to all of the above there are inspirational and exclusive cards and designs by ever popular designers, Tina Cox, Alison Yeates and Judith Maslen. So, put the kettle on, unpack your tools and get parching.
